TGIF! Programme

New Town Secondary School’s TGIF, which stands for ‘Thankful and Grateful It’s (Inspirational) Friday!’, is a space that allows greater student voice and agency. Every Friday, students share their personal and school experiences about their learning and growth through the various opportunities given to them; CCE, Values-in-action, National Education, CCA & leadership experiences, as well as their academic experiences. Students also use this platform to share gratitude stories. From the sharing of the students, it inspires a sense of motivation and resilience among the student population, in fulfilling the school’s vision of a Confident Learner and a Caring Leader.
